Scooby Doo and the case of the Norwegian Spiral

With the word out that we may be getting our very first image EVER of a real black hole, it makes sense that we segway to a sensational mystery. Occurring 10 years ago over Europe, it tantalized the local community and the alien community alike.

Ruh Roh

Known as The Norwegian Spiral, it was a vortex of light that appeared over the country in 2009. What caught peoples attention was its appearance and structure, a long wispy trail, followed by the spreading circumference of light. It then turned into a segmented spiraling whirlwind, before dissipating entirely.

You meddling kids

The UFO community was quick to jump on this, saying it was our first ever example of a wormhole or some other sort of Alien occurrence. The Russian Government stated that it was a failed rocket test, with them trying out their new submarine based missile system capable of evading missile defense. Can we believe that though? The footage of the spiral is certainly captivating. It clearly doesn’t appear as a natural phenomenon, and even something man made like a failed military test I feel would have to be pretty spectacular to create such a profound spectacle.

Johnathan McDowell, Astrophysicist from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center in Massachusetts, says that it’s clear that it’s nothing more than a failed missile test, with it most likely catastrophically compromising above the atmosphere. He also suggests that Russia has a track record for these sorts of failed tests, so it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

We know that the Russian Navy submarine Dmitry Donskoy is in the White Sea and was preparing for the 12th test launch of the Bulava missile, which has had numerous failures

Or is it?

Who do we believe? The Russian government and the astrophysicist, or are we going to peel back the mask and reveal that it’s been the reptilian overlords this whole time?
